Forex reserves recorded at $23.614 bln

ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Dec, 2016 ) : The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$23,614.8 million as on November 25, according to the notification issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.

According to the breakup figures, the foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 18,574.

8 million whereas the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at US$5,040.0 million.

During the week ending 25 November 2016, country's total reserves decreased by US$250 million to US$23,614.8 million, the notification added. The decrease in reserves was on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
