Arrangements For By-polls In PP-78 Completed

JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Nov, 2016 ) : All arrangements have been finalised for by-election in PP-78 to be held here on Thursday (December 1). According to official sources here Wednesday, the seat had been vacated with the disqualification of MPA Rashda Yaqub.
Twenty five candidates, including Moulana Masroor Nawaz (Independent), Haji Azad Naser Ansari (PML-N), Sh Arfa Majeed (PTI) and Nasim Qadri (PAT), are contesting the elections. The number of registered voters in the constituency are 216,562 include 118,687 male and 97,935 female while 171 polling stations and 418 polling booths have been set up.
Meanwhile, the district police along with other law enforcing agencies have made tight security arrangements.
