Spouse Of Senior Journalist Laid To Rest

MIRPURKHAS, Nov.28 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Nov, 2016 ) : The spouse of senior journalist and president Mirpurkhas Press Club, Qamaruddin Shaikh was laid to rest on Monday at Umeedbhari graveyard of Mirpurkhas.

She breathed her last at the age of 50 the other day after protracted illness. Senior journalist Salim Azad, Senior vice president Sindh Sahafi Sangat Syed Tahir, Sajjad Rind, Affaque Ahmed, Waris Khaskhali, president Dighri press club Toufique Sardar Rajput, Farhan Menhaj, president Awane-e-Sahafat Mirpurkhas Advocate Hashim Shar, chairman municipal committee Mirpurkhas Farooque Jameel Durrani, Vice Chairman Fareed Ahmed, Lala Manan and other politicians, social activists, religious personalities attended the funereal prayers.

Meanwhile, a condolence meeting under the chair of Director information Mirpurkhas, Sawai Khan Chhalgiri, was held at directorate of information� to condole over the sad demise of wife of Senior journalist Qamroding Shaikh.

The meeting was attended by deputy director information Ghulam Raza Khoso and other staff members. The meeting expressed profound sorrow and grief with Qamaruddin Shaikh over the death of his wife and offered Fatiha was offered for the departed soul.
