UET Organizes Farewell Ceremony For Retired Teachers

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21th july, 2016) : A farewell ceremony in the honor of teachers of university who have been retired, was held at conference hall of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore.
UET Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, all deans, registrar and faculty members, retired professors including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Maud from Computer Sciences, Prof. Dr. Haroon Babri from Electrical Engineering and Prof.
Dr. Liaqat Ali Qasoori from Metallurgical Engineering were present.
While acknowledging the services of retired teachers, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid termed academic departments as backbone for universities which builds the nation.
He said that retired teachers strengthened the UET Lahore with their dedication and hardworking. All Deans, Registrar and speakers expressed their best wishes and congratulated the teachers who completed time of their services. At the end, Prof Dr Fazal Ahmed Khalid presented shield and flowers to the teachers.
