District Administration Seized Prohibited Drugs

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21th july, 2016) : District administration in joint raids with Health Department in Pepal Mandi area took into possession huge cache of prohibited drugs. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Riaz Khan Mehsud, Assistant Commissioner UT, Mughees Sanaullah, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mir Khawas Khan Wazir, Chief Drug Inspector, Nawaz Khan, Senior Drug Inspector, Walayat Shah and Drug Inspector, Imranullah conducted joint raids in Japan Market at Pepal Mandi and arrested four persons after taking into possession a huge cache of prohibited drugs while shops were also sealed.

A spokesman of the district administration has said that the arrested persons will be dealt according to the law and operation against prohibited drugs in other markets, particularly in Karkhano Market will also be conducted soon.
