KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - APP - 24th Nov, 2016 ) : The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali inaugurated Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) complex (Building) here on Thursday. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Justice appreciated the government for fulfilling its promise for setting up more courts for the convenience of the people. He said in view of huge flow of cases in courts and delay in provision of justice, it was decided to further establish courts.
The chief justice said the government was asked to set up 20 new courts and it kept its promise. In the first phase, six new courts have been inaugurated and further would be established soon, he added. Referring to setting up new courts, the chief justice said these courts would provide cheap and timely justice to the people. He said it would also grant convenience from the load of cases to the judges of particular courts, staff and advocates. Besides others, the ceremony was also attended by the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC), Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, Senior judges of Supreme Court & Sindh High Court and a large number of advocates.
