3-day Anti-polio Campaign Starts

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Nov, 2016 ) : Three-day anti-polio campaign started in all four talukas of Hyderabad district from Wednesday with commitment of maintaining Hyderabad as one of the polio free districts of the country.
The district focal person Hyderabad on Polio, Dr.
Masood Jaferi, informed that a total of 3,30,848 children of under five years age were being vaccinated during three-day long campaign in Hyderabad City, Latifabad, Qasimabad and Hyderabad Rural talukas of the district.
The district administration has formed 865 mobile vaccination teams to immunize anti-polio drops to children while vaccination of the children was also underway at 100 fixed points and 36 transit points of the district. The performance of the vaccinaters was being monitored by 11 Taluka Supervisors, 85 Union Council Medial Officers and 209 Area In-charges, he informed.
