LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) : The position of river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Thursday is as under, says a report issued here on Thursday. Rivers: Indus at Tarbela-Inflows 205300 cusecs and Outflows 190000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 47500 cusecs and Outflows 47500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla-Inflows 30400 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala- Inflows 56900 cusecs and Outflows 22200 cusecs. Barrages: Jinnah-Inflows 285900 cusecs and Outflows 278400 cusecs, Chashma -Inflows 310200 cusecs and Outflows 287600 cusecs, Taunsa- Inflows 295500 cusecs and Outflows 268900 cusecs, Panjnad- Inflows 27100 cusecs and Outflows 11300 cusecs, Guddu- Inflows 254800 cusecs and Outflows 220700 cusecs, Sukkur- Inflows 180700 cusecs and Outflows 125000 cusecs, Kotri-Inflows 129100 cusecs and Outflows 89600 cusecs.

Reservoirs: Level and Storage: Tarbela-Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1519.45 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.654 million acre feet (MAF). Mangla- Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1226.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.243 MAF. Chashma- Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.115 MAF. The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
