Dengue Cases Being Reported From DHA,Gulberg Town

cases of dengue fever were still being reported from DHA and Gulberg town. Departments concerned should continue anti-dengue activities. This was said by Punjab Health Advisor Khawaja Salman Rafique in a meeting while Member Provincial Assembly Pir Ashraf Rasool, Director General Health Punjab Dr Mukhtar Hussain Syed, Dean Institute of Public Health, officers of departments concerned, EDO Health Lahore and representatives of Special Branch, PITB and DHA were also present.
It was told in the meeting that situation in the city was also improving gradually,however,a DHA representative informed that dengue surveillance had been started in the area. Kh Salman Rafique took notice of delay in the reporting of dengue patients by some government hospitals and warned that action would be taken against the focal person if reporting of dengue patients was delayed.
