ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th June, 2019) Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given Eid gift to 820 families by ensuring the release of the helpless and poor prisoners.The special assistant to PM said that the prisoners were languishing in jails despite completion of their sentence due to nonpayment of fines.In a tweet on Tuesday, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the release of such prisoners under the directives of PM Imran Khan is sign of change in the feelings of government. Ensuring release of poor prisoners who were languishing in jails due to non payment of fine is in conformity with injunctions of islam.
