Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has rejected Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) plea for granting more remand in respect of MNA Ali Wazir and has ordered to send him to Central Jail Peshawar
Bannu (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th June, 2019) Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has rejected Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) plea for granting more remand in respect of MNA Ali Wazir and has ordered to send him to Central Jail Peshawar.CTD presented Ali Wazir in ATC Bannu Tuesday.CTD requested the court to extend remand of Ali Wazir but the court rejected the plea. Later Ali Wazir was sent to Central Jail Peshawar.It is pertinent to mention here that Pashtoon Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) workers had attacked Kharqamar check post on May 26 under MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir and 5 Jawans were injured during the attack. Following this incident a case was registered against Ali Wazir, Mohsin Dawar MNAs and 9 other persons in CTD Bannu police station on the report of Inspector CTD Bannu.
