ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 01st June, 2019) President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Aman Ullah Kanrani has said the legal fraternity does not accept reference filed against Justice Qazi Faez Isa as it is based on malafide intent." We don't accept reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa. Government should withdraw presidential reference before June 14 and if it is not taken back then we will go to the extreme end", he said this while addressing a press conference here Saturday.

He held that whole nation has set eyes on Supreme Court (SC). We will observe solidarity day with judiciary on June 14. I invite presidents of all high courts and district courts bars to join us in expressing solidarity. He remarked the person against whom reference has been filed is our benefactor. The family of Justice Qazi Faez Isa has rendered meritorious services for Pakistan. This great family is being debased. We had given such treatment to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah.

He stated there is no corruption charge against Justice Qazi Faez Isa. The media reports should not have been allowed to be run against Justice Qazi Faez Isa. If charges were leveled then these should have been got investigated first. The thinking of Justice Qazi Faez Isa can change after this incident.Justice Qazi Faez Isa exposed terrorism, he said adding commission report has opened the eyes of our institutions. He said who don't speak against the terrorism they are facilitators of terrorists.

He called on members of parliament to file reference against President Arif Alvi. The parliamentarians who are men of conscience and opposition should table impeachment move against president of Pakistan. Arif Alvi is dummy president. He has no right to retain his office. Whatever wounds will be inflicted the entire nation will suffer from them, he added. The judges who will sit in Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) should give affidavit. One Chief Justice got appointed his son as judge.

Proceedings should be initiated against the judges who tore the laws of judiciary into shreds. He warned Arif Alvi and his coterie can succeed in their interests but the state will have to pay its price. It is fault of Justice Qazi Faez Isa that he does not fear from any one except Almighty Allah. All the lawyers including Hamid Khan are with us.He held reference filed against Justice Qazi Faez Isa is based on ill intent. Nawaz Sharif had gone abroad and the judgment had come against him after lapse of six years.

The decisions which are made on malafide intent can be seen clearly. Injustice was done with Justice Farrukh Irfan. We also condemn it. We will not allow the decisions like this to be repeated again. SJC should have dismissed this reference as soon as it was received. We have been disappointed due to this step by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa, he underlined. What treatment is being meted out to Justice Qazi Faez Isa today can be meted out to some other judge in future.

How much complaints have been received in Supreme Judicial Council should be made public, he demanded. We announce to observe solidarity day with the entire judiciary on June 14, he said. I will request presidents of all high court bars to come to Islamabad on June 14.Qazi Faez Isa family is a family which gives to this country and we all are beneficiaries. Qazi family has not deceived the country. wife of Justice Qazi Faez Isa is not dependent on him . The judges whose record is clean can hold Qazi Faez Isa accountable.Lawyers leaders including Rashid Rizvi, Hamid Khan Amjid Shah and Ahsan Bhone are with us. If reference is initiated against Qazi Faez Isa then those who had awarded punishment to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto should also be held accountable.
