TOKYO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st May, 2019) Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono on Friday said he wanted to continue talks on a bilateral peace treaty with Moscow.
"Close contacts between the foreign ministers of the two countries are a major driving force on our way to the peace treaty conclusion. Using this driving force, as a diplomat, I would like to further actively and persistently hold talks," Kono said after his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Tokyo.
