TOKYO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th May, 2019) The Russian-Japanese talks in 2+2 format have been open and constructive and allowed the sides to discuss pressing issues, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday.
�Earlier in the day, the fourth round of talks between Russian and Japanese foreign and defense ministers took place in Tokyo.�
"We have held the fourth round of consultations in the 2+2 format today with participation of Japanese foreign and defense ministers. The talks were frank. We did not avoid acute issues and managed to have a constructive discussion," Lavrov said during the press conference.
