Malala Yousafzai represents Pakistan in World Cup opening ceremony

About the 60-second challenge, Malala said, Pakistan, “We were okay, not too bad, came no. 7 but India came last!"

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 30th May, 2019) Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai represented Pakistan in the 60-second challenge at the opening ceremony of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Buckingham Palace, London on Wednesday.

She was present there along with cricketer Azhar Ali.

Speaking on the occasion, Malala said she has been a huge cricket cricket since her childhood.

She added "We now see more and more women taking part in cricket. I think women should take part more in sport.”

Malala further said that cricket connects different people from different cultures. We're all here to celebrate cricket.

About the 60-second challenge, Malala said, Pakistan, “We were okay, not too bad, came no. 7 but India came last!"

Her video is going viral on social media which did not go well with the Indians.
