DCO Visits Arts Council Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2016 ) : District Coordination Officer (DCO) Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahar Friday paid a visit at Arts Council Gulzar-e-Sadiq Bahawalpur.
DCO visited various portions of the auditorium and directed the concerned security staff to be vigilant to protect the decades old cultural heritage of the city.
He also assured that all available resources would be mobilized by district government to build this historic auditorium to meet the futuristic requirements of performing arts.
Earlier, Resident Director Bahawalpur Art Council Rana Ejaz Mahmood in his briefing maintained that Punjab government was fully committed to promote art. He also told that a huge sum of development funds would be spent to build a modern art performing platform which would be a splendid blend of architectural heritage and future trends of designing and architect to promote the performing art on decent scientific lines.
