Jahangir Badar Was Icon Of Politics: Zafar Ul Haq

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2016 ) : Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq on Friday said that Jahangir Badar was the icon of politics and history would remember him.

Speaking in the Senate, he said that Jahangir Badar was a real ' "Jiyala" and political worker of Pakistan People's Party.

The country had been deprived from the seasoned politician, Raja Zafar ul Haq said while paying tribute to Jahangir Badar.

Opposition Leader in Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan said that Badar had rendered great sacrifices for the sack of democracy and always raised his voice against dictatorship. Jahangir Badar had beard severe punishment in the era of dictator Zia ul Haq, he added. He spent a half century with Jahangir Badar and found him very kind and humble person,Aitzaz Ahsan added.
