UEFA Unveils Euro 2020 Ticket Prices, Cheapest Entry To St. Petersburg Matches Worth $56

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th May, 2019) The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) unveiled on Sunday ticket prices for the upcoming European Championship, putting the cheapest� tickets for the group stage matches of the Euro-2020 in St. Petersburg on sale for 50 Euros ($56).

Fans will be offered a record 3 million tickets, with 2.5 million of them � more than the total number of tickets for EURO 2016 � will be offered for sale to fans of the teams participating in the tournament and the general public.

The cost of tickets for the group stage matches and the round of 16 in Amsterdam, Bilbao, Glasgow, Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Rome and St. Petersburg ranges from 50 euros for Category 3 to 185 euros for Category 1.

However, fans will be able to purchase tickets for group stage matches and the round of 16 in Baku, Budapest and Bucharest at lower prices ranging from 30 to 125 euros.

Tickets for the quarterfinal matches, which will be held in Rome, Munich, St. Petersburg, as well as the for opening match, will cost from 75 to 225 euros. Tickets for the quarter-final in Baku will cost from 30 to 125 euros.

Tickets for the semifinals, which will be held in London, will cost from 85 to 595 euros, and for the final, also in London, from 95 to 945 euros.

At the first stage of sales � from June 12 to July 12, 2019 � 1.5 million tickets will be available to the general public. At the second stage of sales, which will start in early December 2019, another 1 million tickets will be available to fans of the participating teams. These sales will start after the final draw of the tournament, which will be held on November 30.

The third stage of sales starts in April 2020, when the final four teams participating in the tournament will be determined according to the results of the European Qualifiers play-offs, which will be held between March 26 and March 31.

St. Petersburg is among the 12 cities from different countries in which Euro 2020 matches will be held. The stadium on Krestovsky Island will host three matches of the group stage and one quarterfinal.
