Credit cards use to soon come to an end: Fawad Chaudhry

Predicting that the credit cards will not be used anymore, he said that the cash economy will be transferred to mobile phones.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 16th May, 2019) Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that all the payments will be made through mobile phones in next six to eight months.

Predicting that the credit cards will not be used anymore, he said that the cash economy will be transferred to mobile phones.

He said that seven technologies will completely change the world in the next decade. There will be cars without drivers, adding that the driving jobs will not be able to sustain.

He went on to say that speakers were also declared Haram (forbidden) in the past but now people love it.

The minister further said that the labs under Science and Technology will be upgraded, adding that August will be declared as the month of Science and Technology.

Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary has also announced that the government is initiating a program to provide funds for the technology related projects.

Taking to Twitter, the science and technology minister invited ideas from the tech geeks of Pakistan.

He said that government will provide 70 to 100 per cent loan for execution of tech based business ideas.

For that, tech savvy people would have to register themselves for the first ever Pakistan Science Fair to be held in July.

The government will organise a science fair this year to provide an opportunity to the youth to showcase their innovations.
