Nowshera Feroz (Pakistan Point News / Online - 02nd May, 2019) Three people were killed while 20 others were injured after a passenger coach overturned near Sidhu Ja.A passenger coach carrying some more than 20 people was on its way from Punjab to Karachi when near Sidhu Ja it was overturned due to driver felt asleep.As a result three people were killed while 20 others sustained serious injuries.Rescue 1122 reached the scene and shifted the dead and injured into nearby local hospital for medico-legal formalities and first aid.

In his message, FPCCI President Daroo Khan said Mian Kashif Ashfaq is anexperienced businessman who is already running Pakistan Furniture Council(PFC) as CEO, a non-profit organization established to promote localfurniture industry, successfully and he hoped that he (Kashif) would takeFIEDMC to new height by facilitating foreign and local investors andbusiness community of Faisalabad .He said that the appointment of MianKashif, in fact, is an appreciation of the meritorious, dedicated anddevoted services, which have been rendered by him as businessman andpolitician.
He demanded the government establish a Cottage Industrial Estate and hesaid a Trade Information Portal should be launched to get trade relatedregulatory information on import-export which should connect the Pakistanibusiness community to international markets. He said that the cottageindustry be also housed in Industrial Estates of Punjab especially locatedin Sundar Industrial Estate Lahore, Gujranwala and Faisalabad in existinginfrastructure or by acquiring additional land adjacent to the existingIndustrial Estates.
Daroo Khan expressed his confidence that under Kashif's dynamic leadershipand able guidance the working and performance of the FIEDMC would befurther reactivated to resolve the problem and hardship of the trade andindustry and hoped that existing cordial working relations and cooperationdeveloped between FPCCI and the FIEDMC would be further strengthened to thebenefits of business community and for the country- during his tenure.He wished his success in his new responsibilities and assured him ofcomplete support and cooperation of FPCCI.
Mian Kashif Ashfaq expressed his gratitude over FPCCI felicitation and saidhe is also equally thankful to Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar forreposing confidence in him by nominating chief FIEDMC board of Directorsand appreciated his vision and administrative capabilities for thesystematic and planned industrialisation of Faisalabad.He said he already directed FIEDMC officials to prepare a comprehensivereport on the missing facilities so that the issue could be taken up withthe Prime Minister Imran Khan on an immediate basis.
He said that FIEDMCwould take measures to address issues of business community and investorsfor creating conducive environment for trade and investment in the province.He said that Punjab offered great investment opportunities in varioussectors of its economy even there was great potential for agricultureexports and value-addition sector.
