Punjab govt increases workers’ wages on Labour Day

The Punjab government has raised the workers’ wages to Rs 17,000 per month.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2019) The Punjab government has given a good news to workers on Labour Day.

According to details, the Punjab government has raised the workers’ wages to Rs 17,000 per month.

Speaking at a ceremony held in Nankana Sahib to distribute health cards and allotting flats to the ceremony, Punjab CM Usman Buzdar said that only governments kept changing for 70 years but the state of the poor people remained the same.

He said that the people were deceived in the name of food, clothing, shelter in the past. He said that leaders of the past have definitely committed some mistakes if the condition of common people and labourers has not improved.

He said that the policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are aimed for the common people.

CM Buzdar added that we came to government with the agenda of welfare of poor.

It will take time but the life of common man will improve, he said.

He also announced to establish labour colonies in the province.
