District Administration Expedites Action Against Quakes

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : The district administration Shaheed Benazirabad has decided to expedite action against non qualified doctors, un-licensed Medical Stores and unregistered Medical Laboratories in the district.
The decision was taken in light of orders of the Sindh High Court. The meeting presided by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddique here on Monday, which was participated by District Focal Person for Quakes Dr Daulat Jamali, Assistant Commissioners of Nawabshah, Qazi Ahmed and Sakrand Talukas, Taluka Health Officers, police and concerned officials.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner said that quakes would not be permitted to play with the health of general public.
He directed officials of health department to initiate action against illegal medical stores, laboratories and quakes working in main towns of the district in the first phase while similar action would be initiated in remote areas and small town.
He strictly directed not to spare any quake. Briefing the meeting focal person Dr. Daulat Jamali informed that 257 quakes were practicing in the district out of which 45 in Nawabshah, 95 in Daur, 56 in Qazi Ahmed and 61 quakes are practicing in Sakrand Talukas. He said that list of these quakes had been prepared and action was initiated forthwith. APP/rzq/mzd/rn
