MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) The United States has not asked for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, no preparations for such a summit are underway, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.
Putin said earlier in the day, after talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, that Russia would inform the United States about the results of this summit.
"No," Peskov said, when asked if the United States had indicated that it would like to have this meeting.
Peskov added that no Putin-Trump summit was being planned.
