IGP for extraordinary security for Chinese trade convoy

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has called for extraordinary security for Chinese trade convoy returning from Gwadar and its entry into Sindh.

A police spokesman said here on Monday that the IGP issued directives to this effect to all the district SSPs.

He said that the IGP instructed that foolproof security arrangements be made along the route of the convoy. The IGP said that the officer of DSP rank should escort the convoy and the SSPs should personally monitor the security.
