Badar Never Bowed To Dictatorship: Hashmi

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : Paying rich tribute to services of PPP late leader Jehangir Badar, senior politician Javed Hashmi has said that he was a brave politician who never bowed to any dictator throughout his life.
Talking to APP on Monday, Hashmi said that Badar was a committed political activist who remained loyal to his party till death. He was flogged during Ziaul Haq's era for his pro-democracy views, Hashmi added.
Meanwhile, a PPP leader Altaf Khokhar said that Badar represented downtrodden segments in a distinctive way. He said that Badar always worked for the party selflessly without wishing for any office.
