Chinese Exports From Gwadar To Boost Pakistan Economy: Agha

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : Special Assistant to Chief Minister Balochistan on Inter-Provincial Coordinator, Agha Nawab Shah said that Chinese exports from Gwadar deep sea port not only bring positive effects on Chinese economy but would also boost Pakistani economy.
In an interview with APP, here on Monday, he said that economic activities have been kicked off at Gwadar deep sea port after Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurated pilot project of Chinese Exports in Gwadar last day (Sunday).
"Arrival of Chinese trade convoy at Gwadar through Zhob and Quetta has created joy and happiness in people of Balochistan who have pinned hope on CPEC and Gwadar Port for their bright future", he said.
He said that Gwadar port has position of backbone in Asian economy, especially for Pakistan, China, Afghanistan, Iran and Central Asian states.
"The neighboring countries of Pakistan have also pinned their hope on CPEC and Gwadar deep sea port for their exports and trade activities", he said.
He said that CPEC and Gwadar would provide jobs to thousands of local youth of Balochistan, helping in resolving unemployment issue. "Poverty level will further lower in Balochistan after western route of CPEC and Gwadar deep sea port have become functional as China has started its exports through them",he said.
He said that local and foreigner investors have been moving towards Gwadar to invest in different sectors which would put great positive effects on Balochistan economy. APP/mas/rn
