National team reaches England to participate in World Cup

The 17-member squad left Lahore on Tuesday early morning. The team will also play ODI series against England

LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 23rd April 2019) National team has reached England to participate in one-day series and ICC World Cup.

The team left Lahore on Tuesday early morning and traveled to England via Dubai.

The national team will play five ODIs and T20 against England before participating in the World Cup.

Pakistan’s 17 member squad for ODI against England included Captain and wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Abid Ali, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Imad Wasim, Yasir Shah, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Junaid Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain. Muhammad Amir and Asif Ali.

The national team will play World Cup warm-up matches against Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Its first match of World Cup will be held against West Indies on May 31.
