Free Medical Camp In Village Shagai Hindkyan Held

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : A free physiotherapy camp was arranged by Mahboob Medical Institute in a joint collaboration with Habib Physiotherapy Complex at village Shagai Hindkyan, a suburban village of the province capital.

More than 400 patients were examined and advised about their rehabilitation most of them were provided medications and free medicine. The camp was inaugurated by Chairman MMI Dr Mahboob-ur-Rahman with the collaboration of local PTI leader Faisal Shah Bacha.

A team of doctors comprising Altaf-ur-Rahman, Dr. Yasir, Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Daud, Dr. Aftab, Dr. Gul Sanga, Dr. Sadia, Sajjad Hussain, Naveed Mohamad, Shams Alam, Rafi Ullah, Dr. Rizwana thoroughly examine the patients.

The Program for Community Rehabilitation is the top priority of our organization and we aim to provide facility to the community at door step. The Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) is the approach where needy people get facilitation and the same has been done by the organization since 1989 by arranging free health camps in different districts across KP.

Besides this free polio camps were arranged for the facilitation of affected children and prevention of physical disabilities. Dr.Mahboob-ur-Rahman the author of MPET chart have helped hundreds of disabled so far.

Talking to APP, during the camp, Dr. Mehboob disclosed that he also presented his research paper in international conference of physiotherapy on October 13, 2016 at Malaysia, which was well acknowledge.

The research, is known as effective tool in polio management throughout the world present on polioplace.org and polio health international websites. Dr Mahboob-ur-Rahman is also member of polio health international from Pakistan for the support of polio victims.
