One More Civilian Succumbs In IOK, Death Toll Rises To 49

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to 49 with the succumbing of another civilian at a hospital in Srinagar in Occupied Kashmir. According to KMS, the civilian, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Khumryal in Lolab area of Kupwara district succumbed to his injuries in the SMHS hospital in Srinagar, on Wednesday.
He was injured four days ago by a bullet fired by Indian forces during a protest. With the death of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, the toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to 49. The Intifada was triggered by the extrajudicial killing of top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Burhan Muzaffar Wani on 8th July.
