Iqra Aziz demands justice for Asmat Junejo, calls out frustrated men who sexually assault women

Asmat Junejo, who was previously reported to have been killed after being administered wrong injection at Korangi Hospital was later revealed to have been sexually assaulted.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 23rd April, 2019) Actress Iqra Aziz is disgusted at the sexual assault incident revealed in Karachi.

Asmat Junejo, who was previously reported to have been killed after being administered wrong injection at Korangi Hospital was later revealed to have been sexually assaulted.

Asmat was sexually assaulted by two people while she was kept in TB ward after three hours of her death. Hospital administration was informed in this regard however syringe and remaining injection have been removed from that place.

Asmat had gone to Sindh government hospital Korangi for medical treatment due to tooth ache but she died due to wrong injection. During investigation of Asmat case, another point came to light that instead of administering injection to the victim girl, she was said to go in the TB Control programme while keeping injection in her hand.

Iqra Aziz strongly condemned the incident on Twitter and called out the frustrated men who would cross any limit for their pleasure.

“What kind of frustrated men we're surrounded by who are educated but still would cross any limit to just have pleasure? I'm scared to step out of my home, my safe place including many women feeling the same after what happened to #AsmatJunejo Because we will never get JUSTICE!” she wrote.

In another tweet, she said, “We're losing lives and the reason is PLEASURE.”

She also prayed for the forgiveness of Asmat and little Nishwa and hoped these animals become humane.

Iqra also asked men to take it seriously before their own women suffer.
