Ban Imposed On Cutting Trees

MITHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, Dr. Shehzad Thaheem has through section 144 CrPC imposed ban on cutting trees and warned strict action on its violation. In a statement issued here on Wednesday by Sindh Information Department, the DC said that trees are the beauty of the Earth and nobody would be allowed to perish the trees.
He said that trees has additional value in desert area of Tharparkar as they provide fodder to livestock so it was our collective duty to protect and preserve trees. He directed SSP Tharparkar to take measures for preservation of trees and initiate strict legal action against those who found cutting trees.
