Light Rain, Snow Over Mountains Likely In Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : Met Office on Saturday forecast that light rain-thunderstorm with snow over mountains was likely at isolated places of Kashmir while mainly cold and dry weather would continue in most parts of the country in next 24 hours.
Shallow smog is expected in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions during morning hours, a Met Office official told APP. The official said a shallow westerly wave was affecting upper and central parts of the country.
During last 24 hours, weather remained dry in plain areas and cold in upper parts of the country.
However rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Gujranwala, Sargodha and Multan divisions.
Rainfall recorded during the time span was: Chakwal 04mm, Sahiwal, Sargodha and Mandibahauddin 02mm, Mianwali, Sargodha City, Sialkot Air Port and Gujranwala 01mm. Minimum temperatures recorded on Saturday were: Kalat -04, Skardu -03, Quetta, Hunza -01�C, Kalam 00�C, Gilgit 01�C, Chitral, Dir 02�C, Muzaffarabad, Murree 08�C, Islamabad 09�C, Peshawar 11�C, Lahore 13�C, Faisalabad and Multan 15�C, Hyderabad and Karachi 17�C, and Skardu -03�C.
