Thousands Of Candidates Appear In Entry Test For Admissions In SU

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : Around 19500 male and female candidates from different parts of Sindh province Saturday appeared in pre-entry test for admissions in various disciplines of Bachelor Degree Programme - 2017 of University of Sindh Jamshoro and its affiliated campuses.
The pre-entry test was started two hours late from the scheduled time which intimated to candidates. The university management has set up separate examinations blocks for male and female candidates where sufficient arrangements including the provision of the bottles of mineral water as well as standby generators, were made for the candidates.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro along with the heads of the Directorates of Admissions and Examinations as well as President Sindh University Teachers Association Dr.
Arfana Mallah visited the examination blocks to review the arrangements being adopted for candidates.
The University management also provided the transport facilities to candidates by plying buses from Hyderabad, Kotri, Jamshoro and other suburb areats of the adjacent districts. Though the management has made parking arrangements for vehicles of candidates and their parents but all such efforts went in vain after completion of test time as candidates experienced severe traffic block on University roads as well as highway passing along the university.
