Muhammad Ammad Of GHS Rustum Win Inter-School Naat Khawni Contests

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : Muhammad Ammad of Govt High School Rustum clinched the trophy of the District Mardan High and Higher Secondary Inter-School Naat Khawani Contests held at school premises on Saturday.
District education Officer Mardan Zia Uddin Marwat was the chief guest on this occasion. ADO Sports Jamil Khan, General Secretary of the Tournaments Muhammad Tariq, Principals of various schools including Ijaz Bacha, Zubair Ahmad, Ashraf Ali, Hamid Khan, Javed Khan, Tariq Jamal, Iqbal Noor, Abdul Razaq and DPE Fida Muhammad, school children and spectators from various participating schools were largely attended.
Muhammad Ammad with his melodious voice surprised many present on this occasion and was declared as winners by judges. Muhammad Ali of Govt High School Jamal Ghari was declared as runners-up. In the urdu debating contests Arman Khan of GHSS Shahdad Baba won first position, followed by GMS Katlang second, in the national song competitions GHSS Baghdada got first position, followed by GHS Lon Khur, in the Qirat Contests GHS Betakgunj No.
2 won first position, followed by GCMS No. 2 Mardan, in the English debating contests GHS Gadar got first position, followed by GHS Jalala, in the national anthem contests GCMHS No. 3 Mardan won first position, followed by GHS Lon Khur, in the Gymnastic contests GHS Sarkai won first position, followed by GHSS Shahdand Baba, in the ptv show GHS Sari Behwal won first position, followed by GHSS Lon Khur.
At the end, the chief guest gave away trophies and cash prizes to the position holders. He urged upon the students to take active part in sports and other extra-curricular activities. He termed Sports as integral part of academia.
He said a health mind resides in health body and advised the students to be active in different health activities. He said the govt is very keen to have health activities at school level and the sports funds allocated to school would only be utilized on sports. APP/ijz/ff
