LAHORE(Pakistan Point News - 12th November, 2016 ) : the illustrious Pakistani Ghazal and film singer A.Nayyar deceased on friday, 11th November, 2016 after suffering from a protracted ailment. Film bahisht was the movie which gave his singing career a break in 1974. the debut songs yunhin din cut jayen and yuhin shaam dhal jaye was sung as a duet with Rubina Badar and the composition was done by A. Hameed Nayyar. Nayyar always give thanks to his mentor mentor Ahmed Rushdi, who was the one to polish his singing capabilities and made a great contribution in his singing career.
In the 1980s, Nayyar and Akhlaq Ahmed were one of the most steemed playback singers of Pakistani film industry. Nayyar succeeded in achieving the Nigar Award four times for The Best Singer for the films ‘Aag’ in 1979 which was directed by Hasan Askari, ‘Jeenay naheen doon gee’ in 1985 directed by Sangeeta, ‘Ghareboan ka badshah’ in 1988 directed by Pervez Malik and ‘Taqat ka tufaan’ directed by Sangeeta in 1989.
