Restoration Of Peace In Karachi Top Priority: Saeed-uz-Zaman

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Governor Sindh Justice (R) Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui Friday said restoration of peace in Karachi was his top priority as it was essential to restore confidence of masses and business community.
Talking to ptv, he said Karachi operation was moving forward successfully and would continue till the elimination of last terrorist from the metropolitan city. The governor said business activities would increase and opportunities of employment would be generated, once peace was completely restored in the economic hub of the country.
He said the law enforcement agencies of the country had every ability to tackle the terrorists.
Replying to a question, he said he would cooperate with the provincial government and try to implement the Karachi agenda with mutual consensus.
He said he was not affiliated with any political party, adding, in 2008, when he was the presidential candidate of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), he had a condition that he would not join PML-N.
To another question, he said he was a non-controversial person and all political parties of Sindh knew him very well. The courts of the country were doing their job very well, he added.
