SHC Orders To Halt Construction Of A Commercial Building On Railways Land

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Sindh High Court here Friday stayed the construction of a commercial building allegedly over a Railways land in Hyderabad Rural taluka and ordered the police to stop the construction.

The petitioner Advocate Mohammed Hassan maintained that an individual Khawand Bux Jahejo was constructing a building on the Railways land.

He prayed the court to order the district administration and the police to stop the construction until the court gave a judgment on his petition.

While issuing the stay, Hyderabad Circuit Bench put the respondents including Secretary Railways, Divisional Superintendent of Railways Karachi, Assistant Engineer Railways Hyderabad, Deputy Commissioner, SSP, Executive Engineer Highways, Executive Engineer Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas Road and Jahejo on notice. The respondents had been ordered to submit reply on December 1.
