Federal Ombudsman Redresses 2300 Complaints In One Month

DI KHAN NOV 11(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Regional Advisor to the Federal ombudsman and former district and sessions judge, Ahsanullah Khan Babar lauding role of the federal ombudsman said justice would be provided to the people at their doorstep.
Talking to journalists here,� Ahsanullah Khan said the regional office disposed of as many as 2300 complaints, out of 2600 total public applications which were received during the last month.
He said that people could lodge their complaints at the regional office relating to Passport office, Water and Power Development Authority� (WAPDA), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited(SNGPL), National Database and Registration Authority(NADRA), State Life and National Bank or any other federal government department without court fee or hiring lawyer to plead the case.
He said these applications could be filed to the court of the regional office of the federal ombudsman by public of Dera Imail Khan, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Tank, Lakki Marwat and Bannu for seeking justice.
He said applications could be written on plain piece of paper along with National Identity card, adding there was also a facility to receive complaints through either fax or email. He said a normal case was decided in 45 days and added the federal ombudsman had 'Swift Complaint Resolution (SCR) System', to resolve public complaints within short period of 15 days.
He also said the provision of justice by the Ombudsman’s Secretariat at the doorsteps of the people in different areas of the country would provide cheap and expeditious justice to the aggrieved persons.
He said the federal ombudsman was a ray of light for people in redressal of their problems, adding the� regional office would continue efforts for providing instant relief to common man by dispensing justice at their doorsteps.
