Cardiologists Delegation Meets Punjab Governor

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has said that doctors are a hope given by Almighty Allah to the people suffering from various diseases.
He said this while talking to a delegation of cardiologists, which met him at Governor's House on Friday. The delegation was led by Abdul Wajid Khan. The governor said that the duties and responsibilities of doctors were of high value.
He said that provincial government had taken revolutionary steps under the able leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the betterment of various sectors including education, health etc.
"Development process needs to be continued for fully eradicating the problems," he added. He said that basic agenda of the incumbent government was to ensure progress, stability and prosperity in the country.
Rafique Rajwana said that different steps like increase in the annual budget of health, improvement of health facilities at tehsil and district levels, announcement of setting up more than 50 hospitals across the country by the PM, issuance of health cards for the poor people and other development projects would help in bringing revolutionary changes in the health sector.
