Rain-seeking prayer held at Faisal Masjid

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) here on Friday held a special prayer at the Faisal Masjid seeking rain in the country, which has been gripped by a prolonged dry and smoggy weather.

Namaz-e-Istisqa (prayer for rain) was led by the Prof Dr Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh President IIUI, a press release said. The prayer was attended by politicians, IIUI officials and a large number of people from twin cities. Dr Al Draiweesh also prayed for peace and prosperity in the country.
