ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : APHC leader and the chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu & Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has resented the attack on Kashmiri students by some goons in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and said that by keeping a close vigil on them and attacking them is extremely shameful and condemnable.
Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the motive behind the continued attacks on Kashmiri students across India was nothing but to harass them mentally and to create a sense of fear among them, Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.
He said that if such attacks were not stopped, there would be a strong reaction against it from the people of occupied Kashmir. He said, there are reports that Kashmiri students are often summoned in the name of verifications and are harassed.
Terming the attack as inhuman, Yousuf Naqash said, this is done to ruin the career of Kashmiri students. "Students are our future and we will not allow anybody to play with their careers or any kind of attack on them," he said.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leader, Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the entire occupied Kashmir had been converted into a prison by India and its local stooges. He also condemned the inhuman treatment meted out to political leaders in Baramulla jail.
The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir in its statement in Srinagar, condemning the barbaric and inhuman treatment being meted out to the Kashmiri youth by police at Rajbagh police Station, urged the High Court of the territory to take a sou motu notice of the matter.
It also demanded of the court to constitute a team of well reputed officers and direct them to visit Rajbagh Police Station and find out as to why innocent youth are being treated inhumanly and why the medical treatment is not being provided to them in the police station.
