Eight Militants Held In Balochistan Operation

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : The Frontier Corps Balochistan has arrested eight alleged militants in an operation in Tank Bazaar in Hoshab area in Mekran division, on Friday.

A spokesman for FC said here that following tip-off, FC teams launched search operation in Tank Bazaar in Hoshab area and conducted raid at a house in the bazaar. He further said that an exchange of fire took place between the armed men and FC personnel which ended on the arrest of eight militants.

"The FC arrested eight militants and seized weapons and explosive from their possession in Hoshab," he said.

He said that the arrested militants belonged to banned militant organization, Baloch Liberation Front (BLF)."The FC also seized weapons, explosives and narcotics which include four RPG7 rockets, five rifles, improvised explosive devices and 63 kg hashish form the possession of house," he said.

The special investigation teams have been investigating the accused. Further probe was underway.
