Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 10th April, 2019) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has revealed that the personal data of female students at University of the Punjab is being sold in international market.

The data is being sold to the infamous deep web for millions of rupees. The leaked data includes pictures, videos and mobile numbers.

The data is sold on deep web through bitcoins, a Currency that is banned in Pakistan.

FIA revealed that the persons leaking this data seem to be highly professional IT experts as normal hackers cannot use such latest and fast applications.

The data has been stolen from the mobile phones and laptops of female students. There are certain applications that help increase mobile’s memory and increase its speed. The hackers get access to our personal data on mobile and laptop through these applications.

Moreover, the data becomes vulnerable when mobile and accounts passwords are entered at various websites while making an account. Whenever someone installs a mobile application, it seeks access to its data and so with the permission of the users, the hackers get access to their personal data.
