PM To Inaugurate Sangla Hill Interchange At Faisalabad Motorway Friday

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would inaugurate the Sangla Hill Interchange at Faisalabad-Pindi Bhatian Motorway on Friday to directly link the surrounding areas with the motorway.
The interchange would provide the residents of the area an easy access to Lahore, Islamabad, Sargodha, Chiniot, Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad and Jhang, said a PM House statement. It would also help the traffic on Lahore, Sheikhupura and Faisalabad roads to easily move to Pindi Bhatian-Faisalabad Motorway.
The commercial traffic of under construction industrial zone in Faisalabad would also get benefit of the facility. Total stretch of Sangla Hill Interchange is 3.7 kilometers that also comprises two toll plazas and a traffic control building.
The project has cost Rs 299.2 million. The construction of interchange at Sangla Hill had been a longstanding demand of the locals and completion of the project would help ease the travelling of thousands of people besides paving way for economic prosperity through agricultural and industrial development.
It said the provision of the best and safe travelling facilities to the people was government's top priority. The promotion of economic activity and facilitating the supply of agricultural produce and industrial products to the markets by developing basic infrastructure was government's top priority to achieve people's prosperity.
Under the prime minister's vision, the Ministry of Communications and the National Highway Authority are committed to make Pakistan a hub of regional trade through the development of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. It would not take too long to make this dream a reality when a new era of progress and prosperity of the country would usher.
