Nasdaq Tumbles 1.5% As Big Tech Companies Fall; Dow Positive

NEW YORK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : The Nasdaq fell sharply early Thursday, with Amazon, Facebook and other large tech stocks tumbling on worries about policy changes and protectionism under the coming administration of President-elect Donald Trump.
The Nasdaq, which had opened in positive territory, fell as much as two percent, even as the blue-chip Dow index stayed in positive territory. Near 1545 GMT, the Nasdaq was down 1.5 percent to 5,174.89.
