Faisal Raza Abidi Granted Bail

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : A local court on Thursday granted bail to the former PPP Senator Faisal Raza Abidi against a surety bond of Rs.50,000 in a case registered for possessing illegal arms.
The district and sessions judge approved the bail of Abidi during a hearing of bail application submitted by him.
Earlier, the trial court had sent Faisal Raza Abidi to prison on judicial remand till November 19. The former Senator was arrested about a week ago by the police during a raid on his residence for allegedly keeping unlicensed weapons in his possession.
