495 Vehicles Default Of Token Tax Fined

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : The Excise and Taxation Department during campaign against token tax defaulters imposed fine of Rs 875,000 on 495 vehicles during last week.
According to official sources here Thursday, the excise teams, at pickets set up at all entry and exit points of all the four districts of Faisalabad division, checked 3485 vehicles.
They imposed fine of Rs 875,000 on 495 vehicles on the charge of default of token tax, non-registration, overloading and failure of producing fitness certificates and route permits.
The teams also removed illegal/unspecified registration number plates from 76 vehicles.
