Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 07th April, 2019) The thrilling competitions of 6th annual Tchoukball Championship have been started here at Pakistan sports complex on Sunday under the management of Pakistan Sports board (PSB) and Pakistan Tchoukball Federation (PTF). According to details, championship will be played on league system as 9 teams of male and 8 teams of female were participating in this championship. PTF Chairman Mohsin Jamil Baig has inaugurated the championship.
Other guests included President Pakistan Tchoukball Federation Basit Shakeel Hashmi, Vice President Javid Ali, Finance Secretary Awan Abbas, Director Sports and others were also present in the inaugural ceremony.Total 17 teams were participating in this four day championship as 36 matched would be played among them. The separate finals both male and female teams would be played on April 09.While addressing the inaugural ceremony President PTF Basit Shakeel Hashmi has stated that Tchoukball game was boosting in Pakistan with great speed. He stated that 9 teams of male and 8 teams of female were participating in this championship. FATA team was also included in it. Moreover, he stated that championship would be played on league system. He stressed the need of promotion of this game in whole country. General Secretary Tchoukball and others also addressed on the occasion.
