No Incompetent Officers To Be Tolerated In Education Dept: Jam Mehtab

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : Provincial Minister for education and Literacy, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, has said that there is no room in Education Department for incompetent and corrupt officers and those who will give positive output will stay in the Department, otherwise a strict departmental action will be taken against them and that no one will be spared in this regard.

This he said while presiding over a meeting here in Sindh Assembly Building Committee Room on Thursday. Secretary Schools Dr. Fazullah Pechuhu and Education officers of Hyderabad, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur divisions also attended the meeting.

Expressing his resentment over not obeying clear instructions by officers concerned, the Minister said that the clear instructions were issued that all teachers who were appointed through NTS, IBA Sukkur and Sindh University, must be posted at union council basis but so far these directives have not been implemented in letter and spirit.

He also asked them to maintain teacher-students ratio and atleast one teacher should be for 30 to 35 students. Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar directed the officers to immediately post the teachers where they were needed most and unless we worked hard with sincerity we could not accomplish our goals, he added.
