Thousands Of Sikhs To Join Guru-Nanak Birth Anniversary

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : Thousands of Sikh yatrees are expected to reach Pakistan by train through Wahga border crossing on Saturday to participate in the 548th birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Sahib.
According to the Evacuee Trust Property board (ETPB) sources on Thursday, ETPB Chairman M Siddiqul Farooq and Pardhan Sardar Tara Singh will welcome the yatrees (pilgrims). Central ceremony of the birth anniversary will be held at Gurudawara Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib, on Nov 14.
Sikh yatrees will leave for their homeland on Nov 21 after completing their 10-day scheduled visit to Pakistan. Special arrangements for security, residence and transportation has been made for the Sikh guests.
